O.K. Mantz

A man holding a black umbrella in the rain in front of a busy street

Witness God within the rain,

Twist each droplet into pain,

Break my knees and make me lame,

Stretch thy arms and tempest tame;

Water washes not the stain,

But grey skies depress the brain;

Height morphs not the dying flame,

Tears will kill it, just the same;

Two same sides mark one man sane,

While one wet sense makes others wane;

Who am I without a name?

Is my soul for you a game?

Twist each droplet into pain,

Witness me within the rain.
